Electronic artist Matthew Dear has shared a new song called “New Breed,” which he created by remixing car sounds. Dear teamed up with Ford for the project, crafting the song by using noises that emanate from the company’s upcoming electric model the Mustang Mach-E. According to a press release, Ford sound designers were inspired by sci-fi films such as Blade Runner as the Mach-E was conceived. They worked with the studio Ozone Sound to create electronic oscillations that emanate in and outside of the car while in motion.
Earlier this year, Matthew Dear released The World EP under his new alias Brain. His last Matthew Dear album was the 2018 LP Bunny.
