Jonathan Richman has announced a new project titled “Just a Spark, On Journey From Dark.” The series kicks off September 1 on Bandcamp (via Blue Arrow Records). Each episode will feature new studio recordings, poetry, and more from Richman. There will also be occasional appearances from guest musicians. Find a visual for the project below.
Richman released his last studio album SA! in 2018. In June, he reissued his 1992 solo album I, Jonathan, marking the LP’s first-ever vinyl release.
