Taylor Swift: folklore [Republic]

Surprise! It’s not even been a year since Taylor Swift released her seventh album Lover, but she’s already back with a new full-length called folklore. Announced the morning before its release, the album features 11 songs that were co-written or produced with Aaron Dessner of the National and also a collaboration with Bon Iver called “exile.”

“Before this year I probably would’ve overthought when to release this music at the ‘perfect’ time, but the times we’re living in keep reminding me that nothing is guaranteed,” Swift wrote in a statement. “My gut is telling me that if you make something you love, you should just put it out into the world. That’s the side of uncertainty I can get on board with.”
