Big Thief are hosting a virtual songwriting and creativity workshop tomorrow (July 24) through the Brooklyn Music Factory, benefiting the mutual-aid project The People’s Bodega. It’s open to the public with a donation. See more details and register here.
After releasing U.F.O.F. and Two Hands last year, Big Thief shared demos from those sessions in April to benefit their road crew during the COVID-19 pandemic. They released another song called “Love in Mine” later that month. More recently, the band’s drummer James Krivchenia released an ambient album titled A New Found Relaxation, and guitarist Buck Meek shared a new solo track called “Roll Back Your Clocks.”
