Mica Levi and Jonathan Glazer, the musician/filmmaker pairing behind the remarkable 2014 film Under the Skin, have rejoined forces for a new short film airing on the BBC. Strasbourg 1518, based on the bizarre “dancing plague” that infected hundreds in a French city, will premiere on July 20 on BBC Two at 10 p.m. UK time. It was commissioned by Artangel and London’s Sadler’s Wells dance company for BBC Arts’ “Culture in Quarantine” series.
