Miley Cyrus Dedicates Her Passionate Cover of The Beatles’ “Help!” to Healthcare Professionals

Rocking a blue gown, the 27-year-old singer belted at a vacant Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, CA, as part of the Global Goal: Unite For Our Future event. “Dedicated to those who are tirelessly working on testing, treatment and vaccines so all of us can come together in places like this empty stadium again,” read a message at the beginning of the set. Cyrus also spoke with Norway’s prime minister, Erna Solberg, about COVID-19’s impact on marginalized communities during the streaming event.

There were appearances from other stars, including Links”>Charlize Theron, who discussed how the novel coronavirus could affect poverty rates, and Billy Porter, who spoke on the importance of fighting for social justice. Chloe x Halle, Links”>Jennifer Hudson, and Links”>John Legend were also among the performers who took part in the virtual gathering.
