‘Vermintide 2’ Kicks Off Third Season Update With Bad Weather

Fatshark has released their Season 3 update to Warhammer: Vermintide 2 to PC, bringing with it a new career to the game since its release, as well as weather effects. Not only that, but the game will now have day/night cycles, providing a whole new set of fears for those fighting in the dark.

The new career available to players is the Bretonnian Grail Knight, whose focus is exclusively on hand-to-hand combat. No ranged weapons here! You’ll also be able to switch between two new weapon types: the Bretonnian longsword and the Bretonnian sword and shield, as well as a magical sword (which is your active ability) that lets you deal heavy damage to elites and monsters.

To play as the Grail Knight, you’ll need to buy it from the in-game shop or on Steam. Which, depending on how things go, might end up being part of the Steam Summer Sale that’s rumoured to kick off later today. No word yet on when the Season 3 update will hit the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 versions.
