After three months of tracksuits and bare feet, the slightest ease of lockdown rules – including the tentative re-opening of physical clothing stores earlier this week – has seen many of us reignite our interest in getting dressed. In *actual* clothes.
Unsurprisingly, this realisation that we’ll soon be back to curating daily outfits has panicked a lot of us who have ‘no good clothes!’ in our wardrobes.
While we’ll never understand how an edit of pieces that we loved and bought for ourselves somehow never satisfies us, we’d like to think that a three month break from buying (almost) *any* clothes has left us with a very viable excuse for a few sartorial treats.
And little feels more rewarding than a browse of Net-A-Porter with a view to spend…
Hosting almost all of the most major designer labels right now – think Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Victoria Beckham, Saint Laurent and over 350 more – as well as some of the more mid-priced labels loved by fashion editors and influencers globally – we’re talking Jacquemus, Rejina Pyo, Rixo, Faithfull The Brand and Ganni – it’s one of those websites that can perhaps feel a little more dream than reality.
Thankfully, for those of us still saving our pennies for the holiday we’re determined to be able to take before the year is out, this week marks the launch of Net-A-Porter’s summer sale. We’re not talking small discounts either, with a huge amount of pieces having had up to 50% knocked off their original price.
Floral-print mini dresses, statement swimsuits, evening gowns, chic blouses, timeless bags, everyday sandals – as well as super fancy ones, too – this sale is a total playground for the sartorially savvy.
