Live From Here Canceled Amid Budget Cuts at Minnesota Public Radio

Live From Here, the public radio variety program hosted by Chris Thile, has been canceled. “Live from Here has always been about bringing people together. It has been a joy to connect with you in person, on the radio, and online. However, as gatherings have become increasingly complicated, we are sad to announce that we will no longer be producing Live from Here. This past week’s broadcast was our final new show,” a statement on the show’s Twitter account reads.

Chris Thile’s tenure began in 2016. The show was officially renamed from A Prairie Home Companion to Live From Here following Garrison Keillor’s exit from Minnesota Public Radio. The broadcaster also announced the end of “The Hilarious World of Depression,” a podcast hosted by John Moe, as well as job cuts.
