With most of the country still pretty much shut down, everyone’s trying to find new ways to entertain themselves at home — and that includes the rich and famous. Sure, they’ve got mansions outfitted with pools and built-in theaters, but, you know, sometimes you just need more to do. So, like us normies, they’re looking to other means of distraction while they’re “bored in the house bored,” and it turns out a lot of these projects are beauty-related. Some are giving themselves or their loved ones haircuts. Others are trying out new dye jobs. More still have experimented with makeup, and the latest to do so are Hailey and Justin Bieber.
The pair hopped onto their newly-minted Facebook Watch show, aptly named The Biebers on Watch, on May 18. For this week’s episode, Justin does Hailey’s makeup on camera — and we gotta admit, the guy didn’t do a bad job at all.
Justin starts by admitting he has no idea where to begin, but rightly guesses with foundation. Since Hailey is the face of BareMinerals, pretty much all of the products used in the video are from the brand. To start, Justin swipes on the BareMinerals foundation stick, buffing it in with a brush. He then applies a bit of concealer under her eyes, blending it out with his fingers.

Before adding the bronzer, Hailey warns Justin that the shade she has is dark for her complexion, so he should only use it as a contour in the places she indicates: the outer parts of her face and just underneath her cheekbones. After blending the contour and applying blush, he focuses on her eyelids, dusting it with the shade “Mystic” (a pale white hue) from the BareMinerals Gen Nude Palette. He then confidently coats her lashes with mascara, though he does mess up a little — but whomst among us hasn’t? After powder and highlighter, Justin finishes his masterpiece with a light pink lip and a gloss on top. Hailey’s final look is simple, glowy, and beautiful.
While Hailey does guide Justin through the tutorial a little bit, as far as application goes, he really nails it all on his own. Hailey ends the video by saying that her husband may have a new calling in cosmetology, and we totally agree.
