Hallmark Is Doing a Christmas Movie Marathon in March, Because We Could All Use Extra Cheer

Amid the coronavirus outbreak, we’re all looking for feel-good movies to binge-watch while we’re at home, and nothing brings us cheer quite like a Hallmark Christmas film. Though we usually have to wait until the holidays for a Hallmark movie marathon, the network has made an exception to help fans through self-quarantine. Starting Friday, March 20, at 12 p.m. ET, Hallmark Channel will show 27 original “Countdown to Christmas” movies from over the years, starting with Candace Cameron Bure’s A Christmas Detour. The marathon will conclude on Sunday, March 22, at 6 p.m. ET with Lacey Chabert’s Christmas in Rome. Is it too weird if I put my Christmas tree back up and make myself a hot cup of cocoa? Who cares — I’m going to do it anyways. Keep reading for the rest of the marathon lineup.
