EXCLUSIVE: Here’s a first clip for well-received Sundance NEXT movie The Mountains Are A Dream That Call To Me.

The Park City world premiere marks the feature debut of Cedric Cheung-Lau, who was chief lighting technician on Monsters And Men, A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night and Patti Cake$. Rathaus Films is producing.

The film follows Tukten, a young Nepalese man setting off for a new life as a laborer in Dubai, who encounters an older Australian woman traveling in the Annapurnas. The meeting who causes him to change course and discover his homeland in a new light. The film was shot with a crew of only nine people. CAA is handling sales.
