Interview with Sidney Hulburd

Thank you for your time today! Let’s jump right in, give us the short version of where you started and how you got to where you are now!

I’ve been singing and acting ever since I was five years old… but I guess I started taking things seriously when I got to high school / college. I majored in Acting at The University of Southern California. When I wasn’t in class I was either practicing imrpov or writing songs in my room. After I graduated, I moved to New York City to pursue my dreams of acting and singing. I’ve meet a bunch of new people on the way and written at least twenty songs. I guess that’s my story!

We saw on Facebook you are releasing new music! Tell us in 5 words or less the vibe of your new music!

Yeesss!! I’m SO excited for these songs to come out. Five words is hard but here I go… 1. FUN 2. West Coast (I guess that’s 2 sorry..) 3. Up beat 4. Confident 5. Light hearted

Do you plan on going on tour this year for your new music?

I would love nothing more. I hope so!!!

Speaking of performing do you ever get stage fright or anxiety? If so, how do you deal with it?

I have had pretty intense anxiety since I turned twenty, but my anxiety doesn’t really affect my performances (at least not yet haha). I actually LOVE performing. I love it. I do definitely get stage fright, but before performing I like to keep breathing and honestly find my friends and family before I go on stage to keep my mind busy.

Now where can we find you on IG and buy your music?

All social media handles are @sidneyhulburd and you can find my music on ALL streaming platforms!! Spotify, apple music, YouTube, iTunes, soundcloud, ect..!!
