Kylie Jenner Welcomed in 2020 With This Blue Coat

On Friday night, Kylie Jenner and her close friend Stassie Karanikolaou proved they are exiting 2019 with big fashion moments. On Instagram, Kylie posted a photo of her and Karanikolaou wearing matching blue and orange coats, which the Daily Mail says are from Copenhagen-based brand Saks Potts.

“2020 energy,” she captioned the photo.

The coats have a real retro look to them; if the pals were going to a 1970s-themed party, they’d fit right in. Some fans assumed that Jenner was wearing real fox fur and expressed their disappointment in the comments. The descriptions for many of the Saks Potts coats read “fox fur trim,” which is probably only angers people further.

“Stop surrounding yourself of animals pretending you love them and afterwards wearing them as clothes… pretty shameful girl,” one commenter said.

Karanikolaou and Jenner have been friends for years, but since Jenner and her ex-BFF Jordyn Woods ended their friendship earlier this year, Karanikolaou has been out a lot with the youngest Kardashian-Jenner sibling.

“You’ve been the most consistent and loyal friend in my life,” Jenner once said about Karanikolaou for a Teen Vogue video. “I feel like without you, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. Because I wouldn’t be weird anymore. I’d be trying to be normal.”

If by “normal” Jenner means “boring,” this coat is anything but that. 2020 is going to be a good year.
