Whenever someone says that a horror film is a “hard R” or “old school practical effects” it harkens us all back to a time when horror wasn’t laden with CGI or trying extra hard to make a film PG-13 to hit everyone that they can whilst skimping on the blood, gore, and unease.
That’s why so many people are excited at the new that the man at the helm of The Conjuring and Insidious has wrapped on his new film Malignant.
In a recent post on Instagram, James Wan made the announcement.
Warner Brothers have given the film an August 2020 release date.
