Interview with Lindsey Compton

We love your new single Trippin’! What genre of music do you consider your work to be?

Thank you! I say my music is Pop/Rock/Eclectic yet it’s for you to decide 🙂 What drew you to pursue music?

When I was a little girl I wanted to be Dolly Parton. Then Mariah Carey. And Madonna. And Rihanna. Now I just want to be me. My music is heavily inspired by all those bad girls before me though just paving the way.

If you didn’t become a musician, what would you be doing right now?

If I never became a music I might have been have not survived this long. Growing up it’s what pulled me through. It was the light. I’d never turn my back on what God gave me. I love fashion too but music is my soul.

Do you have a favorite venue you have performed?

Favorite venue… definitely The Colt’s Stadium opening for Kelly Clarkson. Tell us something about yourself – a fun fact or a hidden talent. A hidden talent of mine is… Basketball. Not to brag but have a pre:y killer shot.

If you could be any fruit – what would you be and why?

If I could be any fruit it would be a fruit salad. I got variety!

Where can we find more of you and your music?

Come and join me on the gram @licoloca and on Spotify here: https://open.spotify.com/artist/5ErwEnaqQiloXPkxUkJ3Za
