Jenelle Evans would like your attention please.
The former MTV personality has a message she’d like to send your way.
Your way, your friends’ way, really the way of anyone with an Internet connection.
And this is what Evans would like to say:
DON’T YOU DARE TRY TO BE THE BOSS OF ME, OKAY?!?
We’re paraphrasing a bit, but it’s clear Jenelle was prompted for some reason on Wednesday to state both her independence and her I-don’t-give-a-damn-attitude, as evidence by the following post:
Let me forever be known as the girl that does whatever the f— she wants.
Jenelle didn’t expand on this message.
It’s unclear what brought it on, but one must assume it’s related to David Eason and her recent split from the violent father of her youngest child.
As you must know by now, Evans appeared to end the former couple’s marriage back on October 31 when she announced to Instagram followers that she was set to start the paperwork for a divorce.
“Like anyone else I want what’s best for my kids and I want to be happy,” wrote Evans at the time, adding in more detail:
“With time away from ‘Teen Mom’ I’ve started to look at my, life differently and i know I need to make changes. I’m starting that now.
“The kids and I have moved away from David.
“Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that’s what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I’ve filed the papers to start that process.”
The reveal has been met by applause from Eason haters, which includes a significant portion of the population.
Jenelle has since said very little specifically about her ex, but she did recently respond to a report that she was dating someone new.
Evans has also made it evident of late that she’s very happy with her decision to break up with Eason, a man who definitely shot and killed her family dog and who almost definitely broke his wife’s collarbone last year.
In a more practical sense, Evans has now moved to Nashville, where she may soon be joined by her mother.
Yes, Jenelle and Barbara have disagreed on a lot over the years — but they can at least come together and agree that Eason is a horrible person and a bad influence on their family.
“I wish everyone from my past would just let me be. I want to be left alone,” Evans wrote several days ago in a Tweet that has since been deleted.
If that’s what the f-ck she wants, we wish Evans the best in making it happen.
