Back in October, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was tased and arrested following a violent altercation with Jen Harley in Los Angeles.
The couple has broken up several times in the past, but this time, it seems the separation will stick.
Much to the relief of their loved ones — and anyone who watched their relationship closely — Magro and Harley have kept their distance from one another for the past six weeks.
And it seems Jen is very pleased with her decision to call it quits.
Over the holiday weekend, Harley posted a meme that made it very clear she prefers life without Ronnie.
“A break from someone will either make you realize how much you truly miss/love them or how much peace you have without them,” read the quote she posted.
In case there was any doubt how she was feeling these days, Harley captioned the meme, “Nothing but Peace baby.”
And this is far from the first time that Harley has disparaged Magro on social media.
Last month, she launched a tirade in which she accused Ronnie of cheating on her with one of her best friends.
“You cheated, you lied, you f–ked up. It’s always been you,” Harley wrote on her Instagram Stories on November 13.
“I don’t want to hear about Ron and all these girls I know believe me there has been sooo many screenshots and pictures,” she continued.
“I’m use to it I know he’s hooking up with my friend to get back at me (back at me for not wanting to get back with him). It’s a cycle that never end. I’m exhausted and disgusted by it.”
Harsh words — but it’s not all bad blood between Jen and Ronnie.
Harley was granted a restraining order against Magro after the Los Angeles incident, but these days, she’s working with her ex on having some of the contact restrictions lifted so that Ronnie can spend more time with his daughter.
Referring to the restraining order, Harley said on Instagram that he’s “working on getting it dropped so he can see [Ariana] if he wants to.”
“All I ever wanted was a family for our daughter,” she added.
“The toxic part was sweeping everything under the rug and trying to look past all the cheating just didn’t work for me. I’m heartbroken from it all and just want to coparent peacefully.”
Wow. We can’t believe we’re saying this, but it’s possible that these two might actually be able to work out an amicable co-parenting relationship.
If there were ever a couple who needs to stay apart for their kid’s sake, it’s Jen and Ronnie.
