Anastasia Beverly Hills brow gel keeps my curly hairs in line

I’ve spoken of my Pigpen brows before. It’s not that they’re particularly hard to groom (I got them microbladed, so they’re much easier to manage day-to-day), it’s just that they’re curly, so they kind of look like the wiggly piles of dust that typically follow the Pigpen character on Peanuts. Needless to say, a product that keeps those little wispy hairs in place is a must.

Anastasia Beverly Hills is one of the brands to go to if you’re looking for an amazing brow product. The bestselling Brow Wiz is a bonafide fan fave, and if you ask this beauty editor, the Brow Definer is my ride-or-die product for flawless brows. The same goes for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel.

The product has a lightweight consistency, which is very wet when you put it on. Just a few quick swipes and my curly brow hairs get right into place and stay there. While it does have a good amount of hold, it doesn’t feel crunchy. I’d call it flexible. So much so, that you barely even feel the product in it when you run your fingers over your brows. Now that’s some high-quality formulation, people.

If you want a brow that’s a bit more dramatic, you can let the brow gel dry and then go back in. The results is that piecey, stylishly scruffy “soap brow” look, which is usually what I’m going for these days. To be fair, your brows will get crunchy if you do this, but I don’t mind it when I’m going for that particular look. If it bothers you too much, just reach for some good ol’ glycerin soap and a spoolie instead.

The gel will set you back £23, which isn’t too exorbitant a price to pay for perpetually-fleeky brows. You can buy it now on Beauty Bay.
