Interview with CLO

You have such a beautiful voice. What are your favorite things about performing?

Hello! Aw, thank you so much! Being an artist is such an amazing thing, and has always been my biggest dream. I love that my music can make an impact on someone else’s life, as well as my own. Being able to express myself creatively through my craft is very special, and I feel very blessed I get to do what I love everyday.

How old were you when you first started to perform?

I first started performing at the age of four in musicals, and I absolutely fell in love with being on stage. The rush of adrenaline, and satisfaction I feel while performing is unlike any other feeling.

Do you get nerves before a show? If so, how do you calm yourself?

Yes, pre-show jitters will happen haha! Things I do to calm my nerves before a show is to go for a run, and meditate. I like to be in the best possible frame of mind to deliver the best performance possible, and meditation and exercise works wonders.

If you could tour the world with another artist or band (living or non) Who would it be?

If I could tour the world with anyone it would be Beyonce. Not only is she mega talented, but she is so disciplined and smart, I feel like I would learn so much from her.

Any exciting plans for the holiday season?

The holiday season is my favorite time of year! I’ll be spending lots of time with my loved ones, and gearing up for 2020. I will be releasing my debut record in the New Year, so there is a lot of things in the works, like music videos, shows, and more! It’s a very exciting time right now.

If you could only listen to one song on repeat for a solid week. What would it be?

Oh boy, that’s a tough one! I guess right now a song that I’ve been listening to on repeat is ‘Playing Games’ by Summer Walker… Or maybe I would choose ‘Ivy’ by Frank Ocean… Both are great options lol!

IG @chloeuicker. Thank you so much, and stay tuned for my new project!
