Priyanka Chopra introduced Nick Jonas to the newest member of their family by literally having the singer woken up by him. Chopra gave Jonas a German shepherd as an early anniversary gift. She filmed their first meeting on her phone, and Jonas posted the clip on his Instagram. “Pri came home with the absolute best surprise this morning,” he wrote. “Please meet our new pup @ginothegerman I haven’t stopped smiling since I woke up this morning and finally realized what was going on. Thank you @priyankachopra ❤️ 🐕”

Chopra commented on the photo, “Happy almost anniversary babu 😍 ur face..hilarious 😂”

Jonas named the dog Gino and already has started an Instagram account for the little guy. Gino’s Instagram bio reads, fittingly, “My daddy’s a Rockstar!” The pup also has over 30,000 followers, and that number is only going to grow in the coming hours. There are two posts so far, featuring two good boys:

Chopra also posted a photo of Jonas with Gino and made it clear that her dog Diana is still very, very loved even if she has to share her parents’ attention now. “Back with my boys.. 😍welcome home @ginothegerman .. we still love you mostest @diariesofdiana 🐶❤️😍 @nickjonas,” she captioned the shot.

Chopra had been in India (where she has been working and promoting Frozen 2 since she voiced Elsa in the Indian version of the film) while Jonas has been traveling for the Jonas Brothers’ Happiness Begins tour. Jonas will be playing in Toronto with his brothers tonight. The boys performed on the American Music Awards remotely, live from their Boston concert.
