While plot information is still unavailable in regards to the 5th installment of The Purge franchise, there is some new information to pass on to you.
The film will be directed by Everardo Gout and written by Purge creator James DeMonaco who also wrote and directed the first three installments.
And as mentioned before there is no information in regards to the plot, there is a short synopsis that can be passed on here:
i”t does take Purge out of its usual metropolitan setting while still dealing with class and race issues in the way the previous films have.”
The lead actors in the film will be Ana de la Reguera, who was seen in Nacho Libre, Eastbound and Down, Narcos and From Dusk till Dawn: The Series. She will be on screen with Tenoch Huerta who previously appeared in Tigers Are Not Afraid and Narcos: Mexico. Who they are playing has not yet been revealed, however.
The Fifth Purge film will hit cinemas on July 10, 2020.
