Tom Holland is playing Nathan Drake in Bumblebee director Travis Knight‘s adaptation of the video game Uncharted, and Variety reports tonight that Mark Wahlberg is now in final talks to join the cast. He’ll be playing “Victor “Sully” Sullivan, an American treasure hunter, fortune seeker and businessman, as well as a friend, mentor and father figure of Drake.”
Sully is a character in the games, voiced and motion captured by Richard McGonagle.
“The Uncharted film has a story line that captures the protagonist as a young man, as he grows into the treasure hunter Nathan Drake.”
The adaptation was written by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Rafe Judkins.
