Things got heated on A Million Little Things Season 2 Episode 7, and some lines may have been drawn in the sand.
Our AMLT panelists have a lot to say about Delilah, Katherine, and the Colin/Wesley/Maurice situation, and they’re quite passionate.

Do you think the others ganged up on Delilah and backed her into a corner like she claimed?
Christine: No! They simply gave her an opinion she didn’t want to hear, and Delilah won’t even consider anything but her point of view.
If anyone doesn’t agree with her she acts as though she is under attack. Delilah seems to need to play the victim yet be in control at the same time, and she gets angry when others won’t play along.
Meaghan: Can Delilah please stop acting like she is the victim in this situation? She slept with Katherine’s husband, and now Katherine is just asking for Delilah to make the situation right and come clean so they all aren’t burdened by her secret.
I also think she needs to rethink the definition of being backed into a corner. Backing her into a corner would be putting her in a situation where she has no choice to reveal the truth. They are still giving her the option.
If I were Eddie and Katherine, I would tell Theo the truth. Why should they have to suffer by having Theo be madder at them for waiting to tell him just because Delilah isn’t ready to tell her kids?
Jack: OMG, don’t get me started on how much I wanted to shake Delilah. She’s so incredibly selfish and immature. Nobody ganged up on her. People who she expected to agree with her didn’t, and she didn’t like that.
What do you think of the final argument between Katherine, Delilah, and Eddie? Are they past being civil?
Christine: I think they’ll be barely civil if for no other reason than Delilah doesn’t want the kids to catch on that there’s anything wrong.
I loved that Katherine called her out on her narrow point of view.
Yes, finding out the truth will hurt Sophie and Danny but keeping this secret means lying to them for years, it forces Katherine and Eddie to lie to Theo, means that Theo will never know he has a sister and keeps Charlie from the father who loves her.
I think Delilah is more fearful of her kids finding out the horrible things she’s done and having to deal with that head-on than she is with her family’s well being.
Right now, Delilah is the martyr, she won’t risk losing that to become the villain, even if things could work out for the better long term.
Meaghan: They don’t really have a choice but to be. If they aren’t, the rest of the friend group will suffer and they all care too much about the group to let that happen.
Jack: They will be civil to each other’s faces. But the more time goes on, the more resentment will build up.
I’m expecting the truth to come out in some explosive, ugly way since everyone is trying to be nice when they want to rip each other’s faces off.
We’re currently led to believe PJ is, in fact, Jon’s son based on the DNA results. React.
Christine: Eh. I don’t really care. It seems a little far-fetched, but perhaps it’s supposed to be yet another thing that drove Jon over the edge, the fact that he walked away from his own child.
Unfortunately, if the truth comes out, Delilah will use it as another reason not to tell the truth about Charlie.
Meaghan: If he really is, I’m going to be beyond annoyed. I absolutely loved the episode where we found out the story about his father.
By making John the father it takes away from that episode and means the writers straight up lied to us just for shock value now. I’m not a fan of reveals like that.
Jack: I’m with Meghan on this. This changes history ruins a great story, and makes no sense whatsoever.
Which bomb will hit the Dixon family first: PJ’s identity or the truth about Charlie?
Christine: PJ’s identity.
Once PJ knows, I can’t imagine he’ll be able to keep it a secret for very long, and he’ll most likely want to tell Sophie that they are brother and sister so she doesn’t feel guilty about trying to kiss him.
Meaghan: PJ. There is no way that PJ can keep a secret.
Jack: PJ. UNLESS there’s a double whammy where Sophie learns that her crush is her half-brother and that her baby sister has a different father at the same time.
How did you feel about Maggie’s solution to the Gary/Colin/Wesley situation?
Christine: I HATE it! That was so wrong on so many levels. They know nothing about that other dog, Maurice. He’s a huge dog with no known history going to an elderly woman with a bad hip.
Gee, what could go wrong?!? It’s stupid and dangerous.
I don’t know how Maggie or Gary will live with themselves lying to that woman. She was more than likely going to need help with Colin/Wesley anyway. Perhaps they could have worked something out but even if they couldn’t, this was wrong.
Meaghan: I agree with everything Christine said. However, I loved what it meant for Maggie and Gary’s relationship.
They have been in such a weird place lately, and Maggie guilting Gary into doing the right thing would have been yet another thing that would drive a wedge between them.
Maggie choosing to make Gary happy, regardless of what was right or wrong in the situation was nice to see.
Jack: I thought it was stupid and unrealistic. A few years ago, my cat ran away and luckily, he returned a few weeks later. The first thing I did was check to make sure the cat that showed up on my porch was my cat and not a strange cat with similar coloring.
I would have much rather seen Gary tell the old lady that the truth was that he had been taking care of her dog for a year and for them to work something out so he could still see Colin/Wesley.
And if anyone should have adopted Maurice, it was Gary and Maggie, not the old woman.
Are there any other thoughts or theories you have about the episode that weren’t covered in the questions?
Christine: Who gives a 16-year-old inexperienced driver a convertible sports car and lets her drive off with her little brother?
I know Jon wanted her to have the car, but that doesn’t mean she had to have it the day she got her license. That car was an accident waiting to happen, and they’re just lucky that the one Sophie got into was so minor.
Jack: I’m with Christine on this. Also, I don’t know what the law is in Boston, but here in NY we have graduated licenses — a 16-year-old can only drive under certain circumstances, and if I recall correctly, cannot drive a younger sibling without an adult in the car.
What was your favorite moment?
Christine: Katherine standing up to Delilah. Everyone pussyfoots around Delilah as though she’s made of glass.
Everyone drops everything to run to her side.
It’s about time someone pointed out that Delilah’s secrets will continue to hurt others the longer she insists on keeping them and it’s clear that Katherine isn’t willing to stand aside and let this secret affect her family any more than it already has.
Meaghan: Katherine revealing she bought a dress for Charlie. Their blossoming relationship is so sweet and making me love Katherine so much!
Jack: I also liked Katherine standing up to Delilah. And I liked the moment when Gary realized that Colin was indeed Wesley. The whole giving Colin back thing was bittersweet until that stupid switcheroo.
