Not only is GODZILLA celebrating his 65th birthday this year, but Japan has decided to go one step further and open a theme park attraction honoring the King of Monsters, despite destroying Tokyo every chance he seemed to get.
The thing about this attraction however is its just not a normal one. But could a Godzilla attraction BE normal? This one is Life Sized. You have to understand that in this instance, life sized means 65 feet high, 82 feet wide and 180 feet long, which is the exact measurements from one the many Godzilla pictures.
The Nijigen no Mori theme park is set to unveil this attraction which will feature the monster’s head and upper body in 2020. “Godzilla Interception Operation” will be the first to be to scale and a very permanent installation that is dedicated to the classic film.
More information reveals that it’s not just going to be a pretty thing to look at, it will host several “missions” including a zip line into the mouth of the kaiju, a shooting game and a gift shop offering merch.
If that’s not enough Godzilla for you, the next installment in the giant lizard franchise is GODZILLA vs KONG and is set to come out March 13, 2020
