This has been Lili Reinhart’s year. The actor—who is best known for her role as Betty Cooper on the CW show Riverdale—currently stars in one of the biggest movies of the year, Hustlers (you may have heard of it?) and recently revealed that she will be releasing a book of poetry, called Swimming Lessons, next spring. (We are getting shades of Jewel here and we don’t hate it!)
But the major news doesn’t stop there for the 23-year-old star. Today, COVERGIRL announced that Reinhart is officially joining the likes of powerhouses Issa Rae, Maye Musk and Ayesha Curry, as the iconic beauty brand’s newest spokesperson.
“Since I was 13, makeup has been an incredible source of confidence for me and a tool that can be used to enhance the natural beauty that exists in all of us,” said Reinhart in a statement. “I am so honoured to partner with COVERGIRL, an iconic brand that is inclusive of anyone who finds the joy in playing with makeup.”

If you follow Reinhart on Instagram, you may already know that she has a lifelong appreciation and impressive eye for the art of makeup—not to mention, an eye for art in general. If you were all ready in awe of this multi-talented beaut, get this: Along with being an incredibly talented SFX (special effects) artist, Reinhart also did her own makeup (!) on the third season of Riverdale.
So, yeah, she’s definitely qualified for this chic new gig!
Reinhart’s first order of business with COVERGIRL? She’ll appear as the face of an upcoming, not-yet-announced collection that will be launching in the spring. (Stay tuned for more on that!)
It looks like 2020 might just be Lili Reinhart’s year, too.
