Jessica Biel may have already won Halloween and the holiday isn’t even here yet. Biel and her husband, Justin Timberlake, attended the Casamigos Halloween party in Los Angeles on Friday night, along with Lisa Rinna, Paris Hilton, Kaitlynn Carter, and Cindy Crawford. Timberlake dressed as a microphone and Biel dressed as, well, Justin Timberlake.
Not just any Justin Timberlake though. Biel carefully chose the NSYNC era of the singer’s career to model her costume after, donning a poorly bleached, white-boy afro, a shiny jumpsuit, and those tiny colorful sunglasses that were very cool in the late 90s and early 2000s.
While Biel’s costume suggest that she’s a huge fan of her husband’s earlier work, a recently unearthed interview suggests otherwise. While stopping by The Tonight Show this week, Jimmy Fallon played a 1999 interview with Biel where she was asked her thoughts on NSYNC.
“To be honest, I don’t really listen,” she said. “I mean, I know of them, of course, and I’ve heard of them and I’ve heard the music. I don’t think I own any of their CDs. I’m not a huge fan. But, I mean, cool, I guess.”
I guess! Fallon then assumed that Biel, who’s now been married to Timberlake for seven years, probably knows some NSYNC songs at this point.
Biel’s response? “Not really.”
