[VIDEO] Most Prolific US Serial Killer in History Confesses

When people hear the words serial killer, we think of Ted Bundy, BTK, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ed Kemper, John Wayne Gacy, and Ed Gein. Now there is a new name on that list. Samuel Little.

Serial Killer Samuel Little Mugshots

Samuel Little, 79, has confessed to ninety-three murders. Local, state, and federal law enforcement officials have verified 50 of the confessions. The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) is working to confirm the other murder.

The murders took place between 1970 and 2005. Some of the cases were originally ruled overdoses or undetermined causes. Many of the bodies of Samuel Little’s victims have never been found.

Currently, Samuel Little is working with the FBI to confirm his confessions. Below is a video confession released by the FBI of several of his murders.

On October 6, 2019, the FBI confirmed that Samuel Little is the most prolific serial killer in U.S. history. Little’s serial killing career went undetected for many years. In 2012, Little was arrested on a drug charge. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) took a DNA sample from him which linked him to three unsolved homicides. These homicides took place in 1987 and 1989.

Little was linked by DNA to many other murders. In 2014, he was sentenced to three consecutive life terms without parole.

So why did Samuel Little confess to ninety-three murders?

Last year he was interviewed by the Texas Rangers. Samuel Little indicated he wanted out of the California prison that he was housed in. So in exchange for a prison transfer to Texas, Little begin confessing to his murders.

Samuel Little has given law enforcement a list of 90 women with the name of the city in which he murdered them. Little is currently housed in a Texas prison. Because of his poor health, it is highly likely that he will stay in the Texas prison system until he dies.
