Malika Haqq is pregnant with her first child.
We’re almost definitely sure this is the case, considering the reality star herself has confirmed as much… via a very strange Instagram announcement that included an endorsement for a home pregnancy test brand.
But let’s assume Haqq was telling the truth about her womb last week.
At the time of her lengthy confirmation, Khloe Kardashian’s best friend did identify the name of the man whose sperm has seemingly fertilized her egg.
Now, however, a source has told Us Weekly that this previously-unknown individual is…
… O.T. Genasis!
While some trolls out there has been trying to claim that Tristan Thompson actually slept Haqq and got her pregnant, most educated observers did assume that the answer to this baby daddy question would end up being O.T. Genasis.
The rapper and Haqq dated off and on for a couple years and then broke up in June.
It’s unclear exactly what role, if any, Genasis will have in his child’s life going forward.
But it did seem last October as if the artist had very strong feelings for Haqq.
“To the world you may be one person but to me You’ve become my world. My life has changed with you in it,” Genasis wrote in an “open love letter” to Haqq in October via Instagram.
He added back then:
”Before you I was lost and confused and didn’t know how to let my guard down.
“You know I always play you love songs but now I know what the songs actually mean. I came in thinking I had it figured all out but you gave me the structure I needed to stay balanced.
“As men we often have PRIDE that makes us not wanna do certain things. I would do anything in this world for you. YOU and only YOU made me a better man and want to be a better man..
“You’re not only my partner but my best friend.”
Wow, huh?
Pretty amazing words — but they were written a year ago.
Haqq, meanwhile, raised many eyebrows with the way she made this pregnancy reveal.
She did so basically with an ad for the company ClearBlue, writing online a few days ago:
“I listen to my heart, and I’ve decided that the rest of my life will be the best of my life. I’m pregnant!
“I didn’t know when, I just knew one day. God said it’s my turn, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the little spirit that grows inside of me. I am yours, baby, and you are mine.
“Thank you, @Clearblue for being a CLEAR and intricate part of the most important test result of my life. 2020 baby!”
She didn’t mention Genasis in the post at any point.
Haqq, who could be faking this whole thing just to earn some money from ClearBlue, was showered with support after making her announcement.
“When I had my first child you were there every second, literally in the bed w me co-parenting. We’ve always been a team because we work better together,” twin sister Khadijah gushed.
“And now raising your baby is literally my dream coming true!”
And then Khloe wrote the following:
“My baby is having a baby!!!!!!!!” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who shares 17-month-old daughter True with Thompson, wrote on Friday via Instagram.
“I am literally so so so excited!!!! Congratulations Mika!!! I love you!!!!”
Assuming this news is true, we wish Haqq a happy and healthy pregnancy.
